Outcall massage in Bangkok

Airport hotel massage at Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang

For layovers, red-eye arrivals and five a.m. departures. The constraint is always the clock rather than the distance.

An airport hotel massage is an outcall booking to one of the hotels clustered around Suvarnabhumi or Don Mueang, usually taken by someone who is between flights or facing an early departure. The therapist travels out to the hotel exactly as she would anywhere else in the city.

The whole thing hinges on timing. Airport bookings almost always sit inside a fixed window with a flight at the end of it, so the arithmetic below matters more here than on any other page.

Working out whether you have time

Start from the flight and work backwards. International departures want you at the terminal three hours ahead, and the transfer from the airport hotels runs fifteen to thirty minutes including the shuttle wait.

Add twenty to forty minutes for the therapist to reach you, and the treatment itself, and you can see whether the window works. A sixty minute massage inside a five hour gap is comfortable. Inside a three hour gap it is tight but possible.

If it is genuinely marginal, book sixty rather than ninety. Finishing relaxed and unhurried is the entire point, and there is nothing restful about watching a clock.

Getting to the airport hotels

Suvarnabhumi sits about thirty kilometres east of the centre, and the hotels around it are spread along the approach roads rather than clustered at the terminal. Journey times from central Bangkok run forty minutes to an hour depending on traffic, which is why airport bookings need more notice than city ones.

Don Mueang is closer in, to the north, and generally quicker to reach.

Tell us the hotel name when you book and we will give you a realistic arrival window rather than the standard citywide figure. Airport bookings are the one case where twenty to forty minutes does not apply.

Layovers where you are not leaving the airport

If your layover is short enough that you are staying inside the terminal, this is not the service you want. We come to hotel rooms, not to airside lounges, and there is no way around that.

Suvarnabhumi has spa concessions inside the terminal for exactly that situation, and they are the sensible choice for a two hour gap.

Once you are through immigration and into a hotel room, we are straightforward.

Which treatment before or after a flight

Before a long flight, aim for circulation and range of movement rather than deep work. Traditional Thai or a straightforward oil massage both leave you better prepared to sit still for twelve hours. Avoid heavy deep tissue immediately beforehand, since the soreness will arrive somewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

After a flight, the opposite. The lower back and hips have been folded into a seat and want slow work with oil.

If the goal is to sleep on the plane, aromatherapy with a sleep blend is the one, and it holds up surprisingly well through boarding.

Booking around an early departure

For a six a.m. flight, book the massage for the evening before rather than the small hours of the morning. There is no advantage to being massaged at two if you are leaving at four.

Late arrivals into Suvarnabhumi are different. If you land at eleven at night and are staying over, a midnight booking at the hotel is one of the better uses of an awkward night, and we run all the way through.

Which airport hotels we reach

All of them, at both airports. Around Suvarnabhumi that means the hotels on the airport grounds themselves and the cluster along the approach roads at Lat Krabang and Bang Na. Around Don Mueang it means the properties on Vibhavadi Rangsit and the smaller hotels behind the terminal.

Airport hotels are unusual in that they run genuinely around the clock, with guests checking in and out at every hour. Nobody at reception finds a visitor at three in the morning remarkable, which makes these among the most straightforward bookings we take.

Because the journey is longer, we quote an arrival window for your specific hotel rather than the standard citywide figure. Ask when you message and you will get a real number.

Common questions

Can you come to a hotel at Suvarnabhumi?
Yes, and at Don Mueang. Tell us the hotel name when you book so we can give you a realistic arrival time, since the airport is around thirty kilometres out and the usual citywide figure does not apply.
Can I have a massage inside the terminal?
No. We come to hotel rooms, not to lounges or airside areas. Suvarnabhumi has spa concessions inside the terminal for short layovers.
How much time do I need?
Work backwards from the flight: three hours before an international departure, plus fifteen to thirty minutes of transfer, plus twenty to forty for the therapist to arrive. A 60 minute massage fits a five hour gap comfortably.
Which massage before a long flight?
Traditional Thai or a plain oil massage. Avoid deep tissue immediately before flying, since the soreness will catch up with you in the air.
