Cancelling a booking

Every booking is arranged on WhatsApp, LINE or the phone, and the therapist is paid when the treatment has finished. Nothing is taken when you book, so the question is never what you get back — it is what you owe.

Cancel more than fifteen minutes before the start time and there is nothing to pay. Cancel inside that fifteen minutes, or fail to answer the door, and the treatment is owed at the full price, and we will ask you for it before taking another booking.

Fifteen minutes is not much notice, and that is deliberate. It is meant to cover a change of plan, not a therapist already standing outside your building.

We hold no card of yours and take no deposit, so a late cancellation can never produce a charge you did not expect. What it produces is an amount owed, which we will ask you for directly.

A no-show is treated exactly as a late cancellation: the full price is owed. From where we stand the two are the same event: a therapist has travelled and the treatment has not happened.

Please do not cancel by simply not answering. Somebody is standing outside a building at that point, frequently late at night, with no way of knowing whether to wait. A one-line message costs you nothing and settles it.

Every therapist photograph on this site is verified, and the person who arrives is the person you chose. If she is not, that is our failure and you do not pay for it.

Tell us at the door, before the treatment starts. Someone independent of the booking will look at it, the photograph on the profile against the person in front of you.

• If the photograph does not match, the booking is cancelled with nothing to pay, or we send a different therapist, whichever you prefer.
• If it does match, the booking stands and the ordinary rules above apply.

This is the only ground on which a treatment can be cancelled at the door without charge. Where a mismatch is claimed and shown to be an excuse, the treatment is owed in full and we will not take further bookings from that customer.

Reply on the same channel you booked on. A one-line message is enough and no reason is needed.

The time we go by is when your message reaches us, not when it was sent. For the fifteen minute rule that means your message has to reach us at least fifteen minutes before the booked start time.

Changing the time is free and there is no limit on it, however close to the start. A therapist who is already travelling can usually wait or come back later, and that is a far better outcome for everyone than a cancellation.

So if your plans might change, move the booking rather than cancelling it. Moving it later is always easier than pulling it forward, which makes the later time the safer one to ask for if you are unsure.

It happens occasionally. A therapist falls ill, a booking overruns badly, or the weather makes a journey genuinely unsafe. You pay nothing, and we will tell you as soon as we know rather than letting the arrival time pass.

Where we can, we offer an alternative therapist or a later slot. Where we cannot, we will say so plainly rather than keeping you waiting on the chance that something frees up.

A therapist may decline to carry out a treatment on arrival. The usual reasons are health related, and they are set out in the terms: a condition that makes the treatment unwise, or a customer who is heavily intoxicated.

Where the reason is something you told us about honestly when booking and we got the judgement wrong, there is nothing to pay. Where it emerges at the door because it was not disclosed, the treatment is owed in full, since the journey has been made either way.
