Saphan Taksin sits where the Silom line crosses the Chao Phraya, and it is the only station on the whole BTS network that hands you straight onto the river. Sathorn Pier is at the foot of the stairs.
That single connection is why this station matters far more than its size suggests. The express boats, the cross-river ferries and most of the riverside hotel shuttles all leave from here, so it is the point at which the rail network and the water network meet.
For us it is the routing hub for the entire riverside. A therapist heading to an address on either bank very often comes through this station, which is why an address near the pier is quicker to reach than the distance from the centre would suggest.

What Saphan Taksin books most
Ordered by what people here actually choose, rather than by our menu. Every one is worked on your own bed with sheets and oil the therapist brings with her.
Aromatherapy massage
The same slow work as an oil massage, with a scented blend chosen for what you need. Lemongrass to wake up, lavender to sleep. Most people book this one at night.
DetailsRelaxing oil massage
Long, even strokes with warm unscented oil. The most straightforward thing on the menu, and the one to pick if you simply want the tension gone.
DetailsTraditional Thai massage
Stretching and acupressure along the body's energy lines, worked through clothing without oil. Firm, and on tight muscles it can smart. Worked on your bed, so there is nothing to clear.
DetailsCouples massage
Two therapists, same room, at the same time, both of you finishing together. Tell us what the room has and we will arrange the second place to lie.
DetailsThis page is about the station
It covers the exits, the interchange and what sits inside a short walk, which is what you want if you are standing on the platform working out whether we reach you.
For the district itself, the buildings in it and how a booking actually works around here, Riverside is the longer read and the more useful one.
Questions
- Do I give you the station or the address?
- The address, always. The station is useful to us for working out the route and the timing, but a therapist needs a building to walk to. Send both and the estimate we give you will be the one that happens.
- Does the boat connection change how long you take?
- Considerably, and in both directions. While the boats are running, an address on the far bank is barely further away than one on this side. Once they stop for the night the route reverts to the bridges, which are far apart here, and the same journey takes a good deal longer.
- I am at a riverside hotel rather than near the station. Which page?
- The Riverside page covers the hotels and the pier arrangements in more depth, including which bank you are on and why that is the first thing we ask. This page is about the station itself and the walking radius around it.
