Outcall massage on Sukhumvit
Sukhumvit runs for fifteen kilometres through the city, so the useful question is not whether we cover it but which soi you are on. This page sorts that out first.

Fifteen kilometres of road. The soi number is the only part of your address that matters.
Sukhumvit is a road rather than a neighbourhood, and that one fact changes how a booking on it works. It starts at the Ploenchit junction, runs east past Nana, Asok and Phrom Phong, carries on through Thong Lo, Ekkamai and Phra Khanong, then keeps going through On Nut and Udom Suk until it has left Bangkok entirely. Telling a driver you are on Sukhumvit narrows you down to roughly fifteen kilometres of tarmac.
What Sukhumvit books most
Ordered by what people here actually choose, rather than by our menu. Every one is worked on your own bed with sheets and oil the therapist brings with her.
Aromatherapy massage
The same slow work as an oil massage, with a scented blend chosen for what you need. Lemongrass to wake up, lavender to sleep. Most people book this one at night.
DetailsTraditional Thai massage
Stretching and acupressure along the body's energy lines, worked through clothing without oil. Firm, and on tight muscles it can smart. Worked on your bed, so there is nothing to clear.
DetailsDeep tissue massage
Slower and heavier than an oil massage, aimed at the knots underneath rather than the surface. Say the word at any point and she eases off.
DetailsRelaxing oil massage
Long, even strokes with warm unscented oil. The most straightforward thing on the menu, and the one to pick if you simply want the tension gone.
DetailsOffice syndrome massage
Targeted work on the neck, shoulders and upper back for people who sit at a desk all day. The one to book if your pain has a laptop-shaped cause.
DetailsFour hands massage
Two therapists working on you at once, in time with each other. Strange for about a minute, then very hard to think about anything at all.
DetailsWhat does narrow it down is the soi number. The side streets running off the main road are numbered rather than named, odd numbers on the north side and even numbers on the south, climbing as you travel east. Soi 11 sits by Nana, Soi 24 faces Phrom Phong, Soi 55 is Thong Lo and Soi 63 is Ekkamai. Give us a number and a building and the therapist arrives without a phone call. Give us the word Sukhumvit by itself and somebody is going to ring you from the wrong end of the city.
The reason so much of our work happens along this line is that so much of the accommodation does. Five-star towers, thirty-year-old walk-up hotels, serviced apartments rented by the month and condominiums full of people who have lived here for a decade all sit within a few hundred metres of the same road. The BTS runs directly above it from Nana out to Bearing, which is why the buildings cluster the way they do.
This page covers the road end to end. If you already know your stretch of it, the district pages go into more detail: Asok for the interchange, Thong Lo and Ekkamai for the long residential sois, Phrom Phong for the Emporium end, Nana for the older hotels at the western start.
Reading a Sukhumvit address
A full address here has three parts, and people usually give us one of them. The soi number, the building name, then the unit or room. With all three the therapist walks straight in. With only the building name she can generally still find it, because the well known towers are known, but a generic name repeated along the road will cost you fifteen minutes.
Sub-sois complicate it slightly. A long soi branches, and the branches take the parent number with a slash after it, so Soi 39 has a Soi 39/1 hanging off it. These are genuinely different streets that can sit several hundred metres apart, and the slash is the part people leave out of a message.
The other quirk worth knowing is that some sois carry a name as well as a number, and locals use whichever came first. Soi 55 is almost never called Soi 55 by anyone who lives on it. It is Thong Lo. Soi 63 is Ekkamai, Soi 21 is Asok Montri, Soi 3 is Nana Nuea. If your building paperwork gives you a name you do not recognise, send the number too and we will match them up.
A soi number and a building name will get her to your door. The word Sukhumvit on its own will not.
How long it takes to reach you, and what actually slows it down
Between the Ploenchit end and Ekkamai, a therapist is usually with you inside twenty to forty minutes of the booking being confirmed. Past Soi 71 the window stretches, and by Udom Suk and Bearing it is closer to an hour at a bad time of day.
The variable is almost never the distance. It is the main road, which reduces to a crawl between about four and seven in the evening on weekdays and stays heavy on Friday until late. A booking travelling two kilometres along the surface of Sukhumvit at six in the evening can easily take longer than one travelling six kilometres at eleven at night.
Where the timing genuinely improves is late. From about ten in the evening the road empties out and the arrival window shortens noticeably right along the line. A large share of bookings here are made after ten precisely because people have got back to the room and cannot face going out again, and those are usually the fastest of the day.
One thing that adds time and is easy to avoid is a building set a long way up a soi. Thong Lo and Soi 39 both run for well over a kilometre. The taxi drops at the mouth, the rest is on foot, and it is worth saying so when you book rather than after she has arrived at the wrong end.
The buildings along the road
Hotels here fall into three rough groups and each behaves differently when a therapist arrives. The international towers around Asok, Phrom Phong and Nana have written visitor procedures and staff who follow them without improvising, which makes them predictable. Older mid-range properties toward the western sois are usually relaxed and ask nothing at all. Serviced apartments and aparthotels are the simplest of the lot, because they are built for residents who have visitors.
Hotels
The condominium stock is the other half of the picture. This road is where most of the long-term foreign residents in Bangkok live, and the towers on the even sois between 20 and 50 in particular are full of people who book a treatment every fortnight rather than once on holiday. Buildings of that kind normally run a desk in the lobby where a visitor signs in, and the resident is called from downstairs before anyone reaches a lift.
Condominiums
We do not publish access rules for individual buildings, because they belong to somebody else and they change. What we do instead is ask for the building name at the time of booking, and if there is anything unusual about getting in we sort it out then rather than at your door.
What gets booked on this road
Aromatherapy leads, and it is booked late
Aromatherapy is the most booked treatment along Sukhumvit and it is not close. The pattern is a late booking by someone who wants to sleep, which is exactly what a scented blend is chosen for, and the sheer volume of hotel rooms here tilts the whole line that way.
Traditional Thai, on the residential sois
Traditional Thai comes second and skews toward the residential sois rather than the hotel ones. That is a question of who is booking rather than what the rooms allow: residents book the stretching by name, hotel guests more often want oil.
Deep tissue around the office towers
Deep tissue and office syndrome work sit third and fourth, and they cluster hard around the office towers at Asok and Ploenchit on weekday evenings. Four hands and couples bookings are a weekend pattern and lean toward the larger rooms and suites at the Phrom Phong end.
Therapists who cover Sukhumvit
Every one of them trained in Thailand and holds a Ministry of Public Health licence. You get told who is coming before they knock.
Who books along Sukhumvit
The mix changes as you travel east, and it changes fast. Between Soi 1 and Soi 21 it is overwhelmingly people passing through: short hotel stays, business trips of two or three nights, arrivals who have just come in from the airport. They book once, sometimes twice, and they book late.
Soi 1 to Soi 21
From Soi 22 out to Soi 63 the balance tips toward people who live here. Expat residents, families in the larger condos, and long-stay guests in serviced apartments on monthly contracts. This is where the repeat bookings come from, and where a therapist is more likely to be asked for by name on the second visit.
Soi 22 to Soi 63
Past Soi 71 the road turns residential almost entirely. On Nut, Udom Suk and Bearing are households rather than hotels, the bookings are earlier in the evening, and the ninety minute treatment outsells the sixty.
The four stretches of the road, and how they differ
Nobody who lives here thinks of Sukhumvit as one place. It breaks into four stretches, and knowing which one you are in tells you more about your booking than the postcode does.
Ploenchit to Soi 19
The first runs from the Ploenchit junction to about Soi 19. Older hotels, a lot of them mid-range, sitting close together on short sois that reach only a few hundred metres back from the road. Rooms are compact, arrivals are quick because everything is central, and this stretch takes more first-time bookings than any other.
Asok to Phrom Phong
The second is Asok through Phrom Phong, Soi 21 to Soi 39. This is the commercial middle: the interchange, the office towers, the two big malls facing each other across the road. Rooms are larger, guests are usually here for work, and the weekday evening peak is sharper than anywhere else on the line.
Thong Lo to Ekkamai
The third is Thong Lo to Ekkamai, Soi 55 to Soi 63. Two exceptionally long sois running north, filled with low-rise condominiums rather than hotels. Almost everyone booking here lives here. Arrival estimates need the distance up the soi added on, and that distance can be a kilometre and a half.
Past Soi 71
The fourth is everything past Soi 71. Phra Khanong, On Nut, Udom Suk, Punnawithi, Bearing. Ordinary residential Bangkok, cheaper rents, families, and a booking pattern that starts and finishes earlier in the evening than the rest of the road manages.
Room space, and the one treatment that needs it
What every room already has
Seven of the eight treatments happen on your bed, so any room with space to stand along one side of it works. That covers essentially every hotel room and every condominium bedroom on this road, and there is nothing to move beforehand.
The one treatment that needs floor
Traditional Thai used to be the exception here, because the stretching is traditionally worked on a mat at floor level and needs a firm surface underneath. We bring it to your bed instead, and a firm mattress gives the pressure the same thing to land against. A standard twin room in one of the older hotels at the Nana end now takes it exactly as a condo living room on the residential sois does.
If you are not sure
The one thing still worth mentioning is a very soft mattress, since the deepest compressions lose a little on a bed you sink into. Say so when you book and we will tell you honestly whether another treatment would suit the room better.
Booking a room you have not arrived at yet
A good share of the bookings on this road are made from a taxi on the way in from Suvarnabhumi. That is fine and we would rather you did it that way than waited, but two things help. Give us the hotel name rather than the soi, since we can look the soi up and you may not have it yet, and give us a realistic time rather than an optimistic one.
If your flight has just landed and you are not yet through immigration, book for ninety minutes from now rather than sixty. A therapist waiting in your lobby while you queue at passport control benefits nobody, and moving a booking later is easier than pulling it forward.

Questions about Sukhumvit
- I only know I am on Sukhumvit. Is that enough to book?
- It is enough to start the booking but not to finish it. Send the building name as well and we can work backwards to the soi from there. A soi number on its own is also workable. The combination that causes delays is the word Sukhumvit with nothing attached to it.
- Are the odd and even sois different places?
- They are opposite sides of the same road. Odd numbers run off the north side, even numbers off the south. Crossing between them on foot means finding a bridge or a station concourse, which is why a therapist sent to Soi 24 instead of Soi 23 loses more time than the map suggests.
- How far up a soi will you come?
- The whole length of it. Thong Lo and Soi 39 both run well over a kilometre inland and we cover them to the far end. Mention it when you book so the arrival estimate accounts for the walk in from the main road.
- Is it quicker at night?
- Yes, and noticeably so. Traffic on the main road is the limiting factor for most of the day and it clears from around ten in the evening. Bookings made late usually arrive at the shorter end of the estimate right along the line.
- Do you cover the far end past On Nut?
- We do, out through Udom Suk, Punnawithi and Bearing. The arrival window is longer than in the central sois, generally forty to sixty minutes, and it is worth booking an hour ahead in the evening rather than on the spur of the moment.
- Does it cost more further along the road?
- No. The treatment price is the same at Soi 4 as it is at Soi 101, and travel across the city is already inside that figure. What changes with distance is how long you wait, not what you pay.
- Can I book for a soi I am not staying on?
- Yes. Plenty of bookings are placed by one person for someone else along this road, usually a partner or a colleague in a different hotel. We need the address and a contact number for whoever is actually in the room, because confirming arrival with the wrong phone is how a therapist ends up standing in a corridor.
- Which stretch of Sukhumvit is busiest for you?
- Asok through Phrom Phong, by a wide margin, and the peak is between nine and midnight. If you are in that stretch on a Friday or Saturday it is worth putting the booking in an hour before you want it rather than at the moment you decide. Anywhere past Soi 71 is quieter and rarely needs the notice.
