Privacy policy

The data controller is the proprietor of Relax Mobile Massage, an individual trading in Thailand. Data requests go to bookings@irelaxmassage.com, which is read by the same people who take the bookings.

For anything in this policy, including a request to see or delete what we hold, write to bookings@irelaxmassage.com or message us on any of the channels on the contact page.

Nothing that you type. There is no contact form, no booking form and no account on this site. Every page is a page you read, and the booking buttons open WhatsApp, LINE or your phone dialler.

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses and are used to keep the site running and secure rather than to identify anybody.

Whatever you send us in a message, which in practice is a short list:

• Your name, or whatever name you give.
• A phone number or messaging handle, so the therapist can reach you.
• The address, hotel or building the treatment is at.
• The treatment, the time and the price agreed.
• Health information you choose to tell us, where it affects what is safe to do. See the health section of the terms.

Health information is sensitive personal data under the PDPA. We ask for it only where it changes the treatment, we use it for nothing else, and we do not need a diagnosis or a medical history to work with.

The lawful basis is performance of the contract for the parts needed to deliver a booking, and your explicit consent for health information, which you give by choosing to tell us.

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages people read and which districts they come from. It tells us that a page was visited, roughly from where, and what was looked at next. It does not tell us who you are and we do not connect it to booking messages.

Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and Google acts as a separate controller for that data. You can opt out with a browser extension from Google, by blocking cookies, or by using private browsing.

We set no advertising cookies and run no advertising pixels. Nothing on this site follows you anywhere else.

Bookings happen on messaging platforms we do not own. When you message us on WhatsApp or LINE, that conversation also sits with Meta or LINE Corporation under their own privacy policies, which are worth a look if that matters to you.

We can control what we do with your message. We cannot control what the platform does with it. If you would rather not use either, call the number on the contact page.

The therapist attending your booking sees your name, the address and anything you told us that affects the treatment. She needs all three to do the job.

Nobody else. We do not sell data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not pass it to other businesses. Where the law requires disclosure we will comply, and we will tell you unless we are prohibited from doing so.

Booking records are kept while you remain a customer and for a reasonable period afterwards, so that a returning customer does not have to explain their address and their bad shoulder from scratch every time.

Ask us to delete your record and we will, subject to any accounting records we are legally required to retain. Health information is deleted on request immediately, since we have no reason to keep it beyond the treatments it relates to.

Under the PDPA you can ask us to:

• Tell you what we hold about you, and give you a copy.
• Correct anything that is wrong.
• Delete it.
• Stop using it for a particular purpose.
• Withdraw consent you previously gave, including for health information.

Write to bookings@irelaxmassage.com and we will deal with it. There is no charge and you do not need to give a reason. If you are unhappy with how we handle a request you can complain to the Personal Data Protection Committee in Thailand.

This service is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data about anyone under 18 and bookings must be made by someone over that age, as set out in the terms.
