A couples massage is two people being massaged at the same time in the same room by two therapists, one each. Neither of you waits, neither of you is left sitting in a lobby, and you finish within a minute of each other.
It is not a treatment in its own right, which is why it does not carry a price of its own. Choose whichever massage you want from the menu and the cost is that treatment twice. You can also choose differently from one another, which more couples do than you would expect.

You do not have to pick the same thing
One of you can have a deep tissue while the other has an aromatherapy. The therapists work to their own treatment and their own pace, and the session still ends at the same time because the durations match.
This is worth knowing because couples often compromise on a middle option that neither of them really wanted. There is no reason to. If one of you wants to be stretched and the other wants to sleep, book exactly that.
Where the durations differ, say a 60 and a 90, we will tell you at the booking stage and you can decide whether to match them or accept that one of you finishes earlier.
How the room is arranged
Both of you in the same room, worked at the same time. Where the second person lies depends on what the room has, a second bed most often, and we sort that out when you book rather than on the doorstep.
If your room has two beds, or a large enough living area, both of you can be on a bed. Tell us the layout when you book and the therapists will bring what they need. A suite or a two bedroom condo gives the most comfortable version of this.
Traditional Thai changes nothing here. We work it on the bed like everything else, so it makes no difference to how the two of you are arranged.
The room stays as you want it
Some couples want it quiet and dim and treat it as a shared hour of not talking. Others chat the whole way through. Both are entirely normal and the therapists take their cue from you.
You are welcome to ask for the lights lower or the curtains drawn. If you want music, play your own, since it will suit you better than anything we would bring.
Who books it
Anniversaries and birthdays, predictably. Couples on the last evening of a trip who want to fly home loose rather than wrecked. People who live here and treat it as a monthly fixture.
Also, frequently, friends and family rather than couples. Two colleagues after a conference, a mother and daughter, two friends sharing a room. Nothing about the booking assumes a relationship and nobody will ask.
Booking two therapists takes slightly longer
A single therapist is usually with you in twenty to forty minutes. For two, allow a little more, particularly late at night and at weekends, because both need to be free and heading to the same address.
An hour or two of notice makes a real difference for a couples booking. Same day is almost always possible; same minute is harder than it is for one person.
Which length to book
Both of you should book the same length, or you will be lying there listening to someone else being massaged for half an hour. Sixty and ninety are the usual choices.
Ninety is worth the difference on a couples booking specifically, because the first ten minutes of any massage go on settling, and when there are two of you and two therapists arriving at once that settling takes slightly longer.
If one of you genuinely wants longer, book the longer session for both and let the other finish with a shorter treatment and a rest. It costs the same as two matched sessions and nobody is left waiting.
Where we bring couples bookings
Hotel rooms across Sukhumvit, Silom and the riverside take the majority of these, and the twin rooms and bigger suites are the easiest by far, since a bed each needs no arranging at all.
Serviced apartments and two bedroom condos work well too. If you are in a studio, it is still possible, and the therapists will tell you honestly when they arrive whether the space works better with both of you in one room or one of them using the living area.
Questions about couples massage
- How much does a couples massage cost?
- Whatever the treatment you choose costs, twice. Two people having a 60 minute oil massage is two 60 minute oil massages. There is no separate couples rate and no surcharge for the second therapist.
- Can we have different massages?
- Yes, and plenty of couples do. As long as the durations match you will finish together. If they do not, we will tell you before you confirm.
- Does our room need two beds?
- No, one room is enough. A twin room or a suite with a second bed is the easiest arrangement by far. If you have only one bed, tell us when you book and we will agree what the second person lies on before anybody travels.
- Is this the same as a four hands massage?
- No. A couples massage is two therapists on two people. Four hands is two therapists on one person.
